Screencasting
What is the difference between screencasting and videos?
Videos typically show a person in the video, where as, screencasting shows only your screen.
To create your screencasts, you need either a tablet or a PC and an online program that will allow you to record anything that is on your screen or a program that provides you with a background to type or add pictures to share your information.
There are two different types of programs, one that will let you record anything on your screen (i.e. power point, word doc, website, etc.) or a blank white/black ground that will let you add text and pictures to share your ideas and information. You decide which will work best for what you are trying to share.
